Subsurface exploration and geotechnical reports for commercial and private sites. The scope of a geotechnical report and analysis includes; a review of geological maps of the area, review of geologic and related literature, a reconnaissance of the immediate site, subsurface exploration, field and laboratory testing, and an engineering analysis and evaluation of the foundation materials to provide allowable bearing capacity, estimates of settlement, subgrade modulus, lateral earth pressure design values, geotechnical recommendations for site grading including site preparation, subgrade preparation, fill placement criteria, suitability of on-site soils as structural fill, drainage and erosion control measures, as well as an evaluation of landslide and erosion hazards at the site per the County Critical Areas Ordinance regulations.

Full service testing and inpsection laboratory for soils, asphalt and concrete. Services include (but not limited to) sieve analysis, proctors, Rice specific gravity, ignition and gradation, concrete compressive strength testing. All tests performed according to current ASTM, WSDOT and AASHTO standards and regulations.
Project inspection for municipalities include monitoring placement of utilities, pay estimates according to bid item, plans and specification, LAG manual procedures, state audit procedures, record keeping of working days, contractor progress and quantity placement. Included with the project management is the in-house ability to perform testing and inspection when required during the work in progress. This provides quicker response times for inspection and a more educated understanding of the job when it comes to creating a quality project.
